My neighbor has some really nice flowers. Mama taught me how to smell but not touch them.

I regularly have scraped knees. I walk too fast and I fall all the time. I refuse to hold Mama's or Daddy's hands, so Mama often makes me wear pants on the walk even if it's hot outside. Did you know I can hold up my pointer finger when Mama asks me, "How old are you, Robert?" I learned how old I was last Friday. I am drinking a lot of (watered-down) juice. Mama thinks I would do well on a liquid diet. I love my cup. I know where the moon is and I also point to the water fountain where we live every time we're in the car. I know our walking route so well that I tell Mama where to go. She tried to walk past one of the places we turn left and I started walking the correct way. I'm old enough to start being fussy and wanting my own way. My list of bad things include whining, biting, and banging pots and pans on the wooden floor. When I do something wrong and Mama corrects me, I try to make amends by giving her a kiss even though she doesn't ask for it. It takes Mama by surprise and she's not mad at me any more. Mama and Daddy bought a bed and mattress yesterday. The furniture store had a rock/water fountain and I got so wet putting my hands in it that they had to take my shirt off! We stopped to get ice cream on the way home and I ate my free baby cone so fast that I begged to have part of Mama and Daddy's cone.

This is my new friend. He is a male betta fish. What should I name him? We picked out a red one so that Daddy could call him "Hoosier" if he wanted to. We forgot to buy him food so we'll have to go back to the store tonight when Daddy gets home.

Some of these pictures are from the other night. When Mama practices early in the morning, I sometimes awake when the garage opens, so Daddy lets me sleep in his bed so I go back to sleep until Mama gets back. Mama took this picture when she returned!

I had to get a lead/anemia test today at the lab center. The nurse put the rubberband around my arm so tight that I cried then but not when the butterfly needle poked my arm! I had 2 vials of blood and watched the whole time. My arm is very bruised!

Virginia Beach

We went to Virginia Beach this past weekend for Alison Peter's wedding. I saw Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Jeremy & Aunt Jen, Tubbs, Peters, and a bunch of other people from NT, NY. We drove 6 long hours in the car and arrived TR night. We went to the boardwalk and had fun seeing all the people there! It was so windy that we all got runny noses. You could hardly stand up! We had a cold and rainy Friday, so Mama and Daddy went to a time-share informative thingy-do and earned $60 to spend at one of four restaurants. We picked Mahi Mahi right on the beach and didn't have to pay a penny for a salmon and rice dinner (Mama), 1/2 pound of shrimp (Daddy), 2 milk shakes, and a lava cake dessert w/ice-cream. I just ate crackers and slurped the milkshake from the straw. I pretend I don't know how to sip from a straw for water, but Mama and Daddy figured out that I could when I was guzzling down the milkshake. Friday and Saturday night, we stayed with Jason's former college professor, Dr. Dunn, who is now the Dean at Regeant University. He showed us the school Friday night but I fell asleep on the way home. Saturday we met up with Grandma and Grandpa and went to the wedding. Uncle Jeremy was part of the handbell recessional. I was really quiet and still when they played! I clapped at the reception when they introduced the parties but fell asleep at 8 when dinner was served. Sunday we went to Sunday School with Dr. Dunn and then made the long trip back home. Thankfully, Daddy and Mama stopped for ice cream right before I was totally bored out of my mind. Mama doesn't like driving any more than I do. I took a lot of naps today because I didn't get any naps in my crib over the weekend! It is great to be home.

The Mall with Godfreys

I had a fun day Tuesday! I got to see Uncle Daniel, Aunt Candice, and Oli at their home on our way to the mall with Godfreys. We went to the play area and the Lego store. One of the random kids at the play area was a bully and he even slapped me in the face! Mama was right by me to protect me, though.

Easter 2010

Mukti's 1st birthday party!

I was invited to Mukti's first birthday party this afternoon. It was so fun. She had pink helium balloons, a huge spread of Indian food, lots of icing on the cake, fun toys and other lots of other kids to play with, and a special gift of stickers and refrigerator magnets for us to take home!

Daddy watched me from 9:00-12:20 this morning when Mama was at church practicing for the Easter services. We went to Starbuck's, Target, Harris Teeter, and the jewelry store. We bought Mama a dozen pink rozes and beautiful new diamond earings! I was asleep in the car when she finished and then we went to the party.
