Thanksgiving!

We had Thanksgiving at our home today! Mom and Dad Hildebrand came from New York; Ben, Rebekah, Brock & Evie came from Lexington; and Don and Barb came, too! We worked hard to put all the food together (getting up at 4:30 AM two days in a row!)! Thanks to Rebekah for the wonderful, delicious, and creative desserts! Jason was such a huge help carving the turkey and cleaning up! I'm thankful to make it through Thanksgiving being 38 1/2 weeks pregnant!

Thank you, Rebekah, for making the desserts and for the adorable book for the baby! I can't wait to read it to him and help him learn all of your names!!

Dad Lanning's Birthday!!

Another family November birthday!!

Happy Birthday, Dad!
We hope you have a wonderful day!

I remember one year we wanted to make it home for your 60th birthday party, and it snowed so much as we were driving from Lapeer that it took us about 2-3 extra hours! It's fun when your birthday falls on Thanksgiving or near that time. We've always had such fun celebrations!

Happy Birthday!

My brother turns 27 today! Happy Birthday, Daniel!
I am so thankful for you! You are such a great help to everyone and you have such a great attitude about life.
It was always fun to help plan your birthday parties when you were young! I've had some great times watching you play sports through grade school, high school, and college. It's been wonderful to see what a great husband and worker you are. I'm looking forward to the time our whole family can take a vacation together and relax!

Presenting Billy Graham with all the letters from people around the world!

Billy Graham speaking...

Sorry I haven't edited the videos yet, but I just wanted to get them on the blog ASAP so you could see them! They keep us pretty busy with the schedule, so I'll have to do that when I get home. Joe Stowell is speaking during the morning sessions and Jason is on cloud 9.

George Bev. and Cliff Barrows singing Happy Birthday to Billy Graham with Michael W. Smith at the piano.

Billy Graham's 90th B-day weekend....

Here we are at The Grienbriar in West, VA. What an amazing place! Presidents and so many great people have been here in the past. What a rich history. Billy Graham was here last night to celebrate his 90th birthday. We weren't sitting close enough to get pictures of the platform, but I took pictures of the big screens.

There were birthday messages from presidents, governors, etc. So many people came! The NC governor was there, Michael W. Smith played the piano while George Bev. and Cliff Barrows sang, "Happy Birthday," Billy Graham's sister and whole family were there, Joe Stowell and the whole board came ...
Billy Graham was presented with 3 gifts and they all happened to be sweaters! So funny! The meal was FABULOUS as well as the birthday cake. The best part was Billy Graham speaking to us all at the end.
Everything is decorated so neat! Our room is so cute. Notice I'm 36 1/2 weeks pregnant!

Tea is served each day on the first floor as well as a concert. The little desserts were fabulous.

My weekend with lots of kids!!

Saturday I had a piano recital with over 40 students playing. Some students played trios and some duets, and all played solos. It was fun to see everyone there! So many moms were gracious to bring "eats" for the little reception afterwards. I wonder when the next one will be....??? I have just 29 days left until my due date.... wow! I took a few pictures during the prelude. Not all the students made it into the picture at the end.

Sunday morning, the Calvary children's choirs sang at church. I help with the 1st and 2nd graders (the first two rows of kids). We average 20-25. They are always such an encouragement to me! We are now preparing for the Christmas concert, although I probably won't be able to be it!
