EASTER 2011

We had a great day together! We had two great church services and then Linszes invited us for dinner! Amos and Elaina are going to be good friends! Robert was eating jelly beans and gummy bears (from Nanny) in the pew today! He waited all week to have some!

Nanny sent me some Gummy Bears for Easter and Mama hid them in the closet ... but I figured out where they were! I have to wait until Easter to eat them!

Easter Egg Hunt

My friends came over this afternoon for an Easter egg hunt! Daddy and Mr. Pete hid the eggs and we found them all over the front yard. I was so excited! Thanks for my new outfit, Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Jen! Thanks for Elaina's outfit, Nanny!

8 WEEKS OLD

My first time on a horse! Uncle Jeremy bought me apples to feed the horses and Mama brought carrots! I got to ride for 20 minutes as Uncle Jeremy pulled the horse and Daddy made sure I didn't fall off. I wanted to take the horse home with me.

P.S. I was so excited to go that I didn't take a nap this afternoon. I stayed in my room for 90+ minutes, but I just couldn't go to sleep. Mama kept hearing me say, "Horsie... neigh!" I think the last time I missed a nap was when I was one. I went to bed before 6PM tonight!

Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Jen and Grandpa were here this weekend. Thanks for coming and for being nice to me!!

Look how I am smiling for Aunt Jen! She is very nice to me! I love all the clothes she bought for me!! She is a great shopper.

The Lord's Prayer

I get a little giddy when Mama takes a video of me, but I do know most of the words (that I can say!) to the Lord's prayer! (And yes, I did bonk my head on the wall in the middle of the video ... and I did try to reach for the camera later on...)

I'm also counting really well out loud. If Daddy asks how many cookies I want, I say, "three!" (Unfortunately, I only get one.)

I picked flowers for Mama the other day and told her that I had eight of them. Mama counted them, and sure enough, there were eight!

When Mama was trying to comb her hair yesterday, I took a brush and tried to comb Elaina's. Mama said her head was soft and I had to be gentle!
