Home Sweet Home!!!!!

It's no joke... as of April 1, 2007, our new address will be 367 Wildflower Ln.

We'll be moving just one mile west of our current apartment to rent this beautiful home! Unfortunately the furniture in these pictures won't be there when we arrive, but they sure make the home look lovely!

Jason and I made a small list of things we'll be able to enjoy now that we'll have a home after nearly 11 years of renting!

1. Scream and run up and down the stairs
2. Play the piano at 5 AM or 10 PM
3. Grill out!
4. Have more than 5 people over at a time without being SQUISHED!
5. Cut the grass, shovel the driveway, plant a garden...
6. Have 2 bathrooms to get ready in the morning!
7. Have family & missionaries spend the night!!
8. Store all of our wedding gifts... some of which are still in Manton
9. GARAGE!!!!
10. HAVE A REAL CHRISTMAS TREE!!!!!!!!

Jason's 28th Birthday Pictures

I actually surprised Jason yesterday! I invited six of his church friends over for lunch and they arrived before Jason came home at noon!

We had chicken wings, a baked shells and cheese dish, homemade wheat bread, beans, and salad... and for dessert.... a huge frosted Meijer COOKIE!

Weekend with Dan

We had a fun time with Dan this past weekend! We celebrated Jason's birthday at Mongolian BBQ and watched Michigan beat IU for the first time in 11 games. At least Dan & Dad were happy MI won!

Early Birthday Celebrations!

After a busy day of accompanying high school soloists in Flint from 8AM-4PM, we decided to make a fun trip to Birch Run & Frankenmuth!

Jason's 28th birthday is on February 20th and I needed to get him some gifts! We found a great belt and some winter gloves.

It's become a tradition to go to Frankenmuth each February and get the famous Zehnder's free birthday club chicken dinner! As you can see, we split the ice cream and I enjoyed a frosted cookie! Yum!

SATURDAYS!

We just love Saturdays.... after working so many hours during the week, it's great to have a few hours of free time!

Today we went with Sheri to JoAnn Fabrics in Flint! They had some great deals! Mom and Rebekah - I bought your birthday/Mother's Day gifts today! Go scrapbooking!

Sunshine!

The sunshine was streaming through my window on Friday morning! I received these flowers at last Friday's piano recital from a student who is moving to Florida! I love to keep everyone's Christmas pictures on my fridge. And the cute IU bear is the very first gift Jason got me! He sits on my rocking chair.
