Mama caught me talking on video! Normally I get very quiet when she pulls out the camera. Can you see my teeth in the video? I like to bite Mama. I try to bite her on the shoulder when she is talking to other people. I can leave quite a red mark. Guess what I did today? I opened the garage door all by myself! Mama and Daddy have been trying to get me to push the button inside the garage for a while and I finally did it without any help! Daddy came home for lunch today because my car seat/stroller and Mama's phone were in his trunk. I was SO excited, but he only was here about 10 minutes because he had to drive back to work. I fell the other day and awoke with a puffy eye and scratch. I never cried and Mama doesn't know how I got the scratch. It doesn't hurt, but it makes Mama feel sad. You can see it in the pictures.

I like my toys, but I really love playing with electronics, door stops, drawer handles, and paper. The last few days I have noticed the knocker on the front door. I can pull my weight up all by myself (with Mama holding on, of course). Yesterday I found out how to open the kitchen cupboards by myself. Watch out Mama!

We got to skype with Rachel and Micah and baby Caleb today, but I fell asleep! Mama fed me a tiny bit of peanut butter yesterday and I just LOVED it!! Thankfully I am not allergic to peanuts! I licked a South Carolina peach or two and it was so tasty. I just love food. The Gerber baby food carrots and bananas are my favorite, I think.

36 weeks old

I had a busy weekend! Daddy and Mama's former Pastor and family came to visit us on Friday and Saturday. They are a really nice family and I liked them! They came for dinner Friday night and then right after that, Daddy and Mama had a small group meeting for Sunday school and a lot of couples came over for snacks and a meeting. I have been getting up every 2 hours at night the last two nights because my teeth hurt a little and I need some extra comfort from Mama. The Lorches came for lunch today and Uncle Don & Aunt Barb came also. Daddy grilled chicken and I played with Jonathan a bit while Mama cleaned up. We went to church while Mama practiced this afternoon and then I wanted to play with my toys.

Mama has been too busy to do a blog this week! She has been trying desparately to get a picture of my 4 big teeth, but every time she pulls out the camera, I won't let her get a picture of them! It's a fun game for me. Mama said I bite really hard. It just feels good to feel my teeth with my finger and to grind my teeth together! You can see my teeth in the video if you watch carefully.

I love to drop things. It's fun to watch Daddy and Mama pick them up. I love to drop toys out of my stroller and onto the kitchen floor from my high chair.

I was so excited to go to the pool yesterday because I just discovered the water faucet where the water comes pouring out. I could stay there all day and touch the water as it comes out!

I was really good for Daddy last night at the church rehearsal. We didn't get home until after 9:30PM, but I slept on Daddy.

Today Daddy gets a 1/2 day of work! It's his first vacation day since July 4th! We are so excited.

WELCOME to my new cousin, Caleb Andrew! You look like your dad! I'm glad you are a boy and that we'll be able to play together at Christmas!

We had a busy weekend! Mama played for a wedding today at noon so Daddy and I tagged along for the rehearsal last night and the wedding today. Daddy played with me a lot. He helps me crawl up the stairs, he took me to see the birds and fish in the preschool area, he let me say hi to the security staff, and he carried me as he walked around in circles inside the sanctuary to make me fall asleep. Friday I cried for 40 minutes before I fell asleep, but today I only cried for 10. I have 4 teeth now and sometimes they hurt and I'm just used to Mama putting me to sleep. We came home to take a nap and then went to Baxter for Mama to use her last b-day gift - an enormous slice of carrot cake at Peppers from Daddy! The owner gave us a free slice of raspberry erruption cake (another monster-size!) since we couldn't decide which one!! I didn't get any and Mama and Daddy ate it all!
