22 weeks old!

I am going to the Great Strides Cystic Fibrosis walk today at 9AM in downtown Charlotte for Mama's little piano student, Caroline. It is her birthday today, so we are bringing her a gift. The walk is 2.1 miles, but there are stops along the way (Baskin Robins ice cream break!) in case I don't feel like sitting in my stroller the whole time. Mama is taking the camera, so she'll be sure to take some pictures of me there. Thank you, Uncle Daniel and Aunt Candice, Grandpa and Grandma Hildebrand, and Aunt Rebekah and Uncle Ben Godfrey for supporting us to walk today!

Thursday night....

Thursday afternoon I didn't want to nap. In fact, I stayed awake from 3:30PM-8:30PM! (Normally I take a nap sometime between 5:30 and 6:30 and then go to bed by 8!) I had so much energy that I really wore Mama out! Then I wore Daddy out when he came home from work! I decided I finally needed to give them a break, so I went to bed and slept until 8AM. I only awoke 2 times to eat. I surprised Mama this morning during the piano lessons when she put me on my tummy to play. I decided I wanted to roll over on my back! She wasn't even looking when I did it. (It's the 2nd time I've done it.)

Aunt Jen sent me a surprise package

in the mail with my name on it. Mama takes me along to get the mail every day, so I get excited when something comes for me! I am wearing the outfit she sent! It almost fits even though it is for 6-9 month olds! THANK YOU!

Bye, bye 4 months

Tomorrow I won't be a little 4 month old anymore. I'll be 5 months old! Mama can't believe how fast the last few weeks have gone!

My Mama's first Mother's Day...

Mama had her first official Mother's Day yesterday. Daddy and I spent some time getting the perfect gifts together for her. We gave her sandals, sports shorts, her favorite block of cheese, a book called, "I love Mommy," and a letter that Daddy typed for me to sign. He helped me sign my name. I was so excited that I didn't nap all day, but today (Monday) I took a 2 hour nap in the morning, a 3 hour nap mid-morning, and a 45 minute nap before dinner. I guess I was tired. I rolled over for the first time by myself this morning!

I also included a video of me singing on Saturday. Sometimes I feel like talking for 30 minutes to an hour. It makes Daddy and Mama laugh. Mama said I have a boy's soprano voice now, but she told me it will get lower when I get older.

21 weeks old

I slept the whole night in my room in my crib the last 2 nights! I still awake about every 2.5-3 hours, though. Mama thinks I get up just to be with her. She took a picture of how I sleep now. I have to sleep on my tummy. If Mama puts me on my back, I start playing and eating my toes and I can't fall asleep. Aunt Jen gave me the coolest shorts and t-shirt. I'm wearing it now (and it fits perfectly!) even though the size is 6-9 months!

Thanks for coming to visit me, Grandpa! I was wondering where you were this morning when I awoke.

I'm glad you had a safe trip back. Maybe I can come visit you in New York before I turn 1!

Aunt Susan's British tea

Grandpa came on Saturday! He went to Target with us to get diapers and Harris Teeter during triple coupons week. Daddy and Grandpa went to the Knights' baseball game Sunday after church, too. Monday lunch we met Daddy and Monday afternoon Uncle John and Aunt Susan came! I really liked Aunt Susan! I liked her tea cup, too! I was drooling ALL night and munched on her fingers. I showed everyone how strong I was! I slept 2 1/2 hours for my morning nap on Tuesday! They wore me out.

The green foot is mine. The paint was cold on my feet, but I was brave and let them paint it so I could put it on your teapot. Sorry if I wasn't very still. The footprint is a little fuzzy because I moved! Thanks for being a great Nanny to me! I miss you.
