10 weeks old today on Jason's 30th birthday party!

Lots of pictures taken today, but although I didn't have time to get very good ones, I know my parents are waiting to see some ASAP! Enjoy! Thank you for all the gifts you gave Jason!! He received all his favorites: Starbucks from Mom and Dad Hildebrand and Sawatzkys, dozens of coke cans from Godfreys, Brusters and Pizza Hut from Mom and Dad Lanning, a DVD player and DVD from Daniel and Candice, and a GAP card and a T-shirt from Jeremy and Jen! What a generous and thoughtful gift! Little Robert received gifts, too!

Uncle Jeremy drove all the way from FL this morning to surprise Jason! Robert fell fast asleep in his arms within minutes! Aunt Jen (we miss you... hope you feel better soon!) sent along the coolest gifts for Robert which I'll show in future blogs!!! THANK YOU! The Nike shoes are darling!

When I sent out a mass e-mail the day Robert was born, I mispelled his name as I typed one-handed after 19 hrs of labor... anyhow, because of my sloppy mistake, Jason's boss calls Robert "ribert" and gave him this adorable outfit.

OK, so last night at dinner Jason asked what we did all day and I didn't have too much to say other than eat, sleep, "coo" time, and change diapers! So I made sure we did some science today. Robert is already a pro at math and music.

I always get up around 3:45 or 4 AM on Sunday mornings because I am excited to go to church. Mama tries to put me back to sleep but she never wins. I want her to play with me since we have extra time to get ready. P.S. I didn't make a peep during communion.

2 mo doctor visit

Mama embarrassed me by taking my picture at the doctor's office. I did really well during the exam and smiled at the nurse and doctor. I weigh 12 lbs and 7.5 oz! My head is 15.25 in around and I am really tall for my age: 24 in!

I just love it when Robert awakens! Usually he is in my arms... but today he was in his car seat!

8 weeks old at 10:57 AM

I can hardly believe Robert is 8 weeks old!! We took some early morning pictures so pardon my "before the shower" hair. I can't believe he was inside me just a few weeks ago! I love him more every day... it is so fun to see his little personality developing every day!

Mama says my favorite pitch is middle e on the piano. She says I always coo at that pitch, but now that I'm almost 8 weeks old, it's time to start singing other pitches. She thinks I sleep through some of the piano lessons, but I'm really just pretending to sleep. I know all the songs in the first two levels by memory.
