Saturday morning fun with the BGEA ladies!

Jason's co-workers invited me to breakfast this morning at a cute little restaurant at the Arboretum called Le Peeps. They were so kind to treat me to breakfast (yummy Dutch apple/raisin oatmeal and cream cheese and English muffins). They also gave me incredibly generous gifts including baby monitors, diapers, wipes, and an adjustable baby seat for eating at the table. We can really use all those gifts! I felt very special! When I got home Jason and I put the pack and play together that we recently purchased at Babies R Us with gifts we've received from Nana, Aunt Connie & Uncle Jerry, and the Whitleys!

Happy Birthday to you!

Brock was excited about seeing the ice cream dessert!

Notice the cute little girl, Nora, on the left... she loves ice cream.

Brock and Evie

Jason and I went to Lexington to visit the Godfreys and attend Brock's 2nd birthday party! Brock has a lot of fun little friends and received some great birthday toys. Rebekah made a great kid-friendly menu and had a cool looking chocolate cake and ice cream dessert. It's always fun to hear Brock say, "Aunt Elizabeth," and to see baby Evie look so adorable sleeping against her mom.

Notice that Jason is holding baby Evie! He's practicing for December.

Slideshow....

My very talented sister-in-law (who now is a full-time photographer!) made this beautiful video of Dad and Mom and Rachel and Micah's visit to the U.S. as well as the fun baby shower we had together here in Tega Cay! The little girls are my piano students!

Thanks so much, Candice! What a wonderful gift!!

Three more pictures I stole from Rachel's blog!

75%!!! Week 30/40

Candice and Daniel .... thank you so much for throwing the baby shower for me this past Saturday! Everything was so very nice and thoughtful!! (The frog cupcakes were so cute!!)

It was great to have Rachel & Micah, Dad and Mom, and Jeremy & Jen come, too!!! The guys got errands done while the ladies enjoyed the shower and they put up ceiling fans in the baby's room! Thanks for helping Jason buy power tools and hang up the mirror and diplomas on the upstairs walls, Daniel! Several piano students and parents came to the shower, too. The little girls were all dressed up in beautiful dresses and were excited to be invited.

Dad and Mom and Rebekah and Ben bought us (and the baby!) the most beautiful crib set!! We now have a great theme! The curtain, diaper holder, crib sheet, bumper, blanket, hanging blanket, and bed skirt all match so beautifully! Thank you SO MUCH for that GENEROUS gift!!

Jeremy & Jen, thank you so much for the great baby gifts! The clothes and bibs and the super cool and generous green canvas organizers for the closets and room are so appreciated!! I can't wait to get everything set up "just so." Thanks for making the drive all the way up here... it meant so much!

Rachel and Micah, it was so good to see you 2! Thanks for always bringing us our favorite Taiwanese treats and for your beautiful outfit for the baby! Thanks for letting us play with Micah, too!

We're so blessed to have such a great family! I love how it keeps growing bigger!!

Franklin Festival in Charleston (Sept. 19-21)

Jason and I were invited to attend the Franklin Festival this past weekend to see how the festivals are run. We drove down with Jason's boss and wife and were kept really busy! We did have about 2 hours to go downtown on Saturday, so we saw the market and the beautiful old trees and ate at a fun crab restaurant and enjoyed lots of sampled treats at the candy store. We enjoyed everything so much. The hotel was really nice, the morning devotions were great, and the nightly meetings were well attended. We were able to walk "behind the scenes" to see how things work... like the video taping, the decision counting/co-labor after the service (which sometimes lasts all night!), the volunteer and counselor preparation, the donor dinners, etc. One of the pictures you can see the large choir that sat behind the stage on the 2nd level.

It was I started week #28 in the pregnancy! As you can see, the baby is growing and so am I!
