Dear Nanny,

I've been saying your name over and over since I left Michigan. Today Mama kept telling me you are coming tomorrow and I go to look for you because I don't really understand what TOMORROW means yet! I hope you and Papa have a great flight. We'll be excited to pick you up at the airport! I have a long list of things I want to do with you when you come.

I'm in Michigan! Nanny has so many fun toys for me to play with. I love playing outside, too! I have been eating so much food here. It is so good. Yesterday, I slept from 7:20PM-5:37AM without awaking!

We all wore green yesterday since we were on the camo team at church.

It has been WAY TOO LONG since Mama blogged! She has to take a nap when I do and goes to bed early so she hasn't had time to keep up with anything besides church and piano lessons and me!

New Things:

• I am 19.5 months old!


• Lately, I've been eating applesauce with a spoon by myself. I use my left hand.


• I love to color using crayons and colored pencils. Sometimes I forget to color on the paper.


• I've gone to two doctor appointments with Mama. I'm really good at the Dr.'s office. I sit on a chair very quietly while Mama is talking to the doctor. I heard the baby's heartbeat yesterday!


• I really like to play the piano. I like to sing, although I don't say any words yet.


• Daddy took me to the YMCA splash pool last Wednesday when Mama was at church. We had a lot of fun. I was so tired when we got home that I fell asleep as Daddy was putting me into the bed.


• I like to read books and I prefer Daddy and Mama reading at the same time to me.


• I like singing, "Happy Birthday." We sing it in the car a lot.


• This Thursday Mama is going to leave me all day for the first time! Aunt Rebekah, Uncle Ben, Brock, and Evie will keep me company. Mama has some fun things for us to do while she is gone.


• I really like snack and meal time. Sometimes I bang on the fridge because I want food NOW!


• Sometimes we play Hide and Seek at night. Daddy and Mama take turns hiding. I like to find where they are!


• I can walk a mile all by myself. Mama's not interested in going fast anymore since she's been nauseous, so we take our time looking at the rocks and sticks on the way. I saw a Great Heron today!


• I'm going to bed a lot earlier since Mama is tired all the time. Sunday night I went to bed at 5:30PM and stayed in my bed until 5:50AM! Generally, I wake up between 5 and 5:30AM.


• I'm excited to see Nanny and Papa soon in Michigan. I haven't been there since CHRISTMAS!


• I like to walk around in Mama's sandals and high heels and Daddy's big work shoes. I look really funny!
