Happy Birthday, Grandma Hildebrand (on Jan. 31)! I am excited to meet you someday... Mama always shows me pictures of all my relatives so I will recognize them when I meet them!

I am out-growing my newborn clothes! Now I'm starting to wear my 0-3 mo. clothes! I am doing very well at being good when mama teaches piano lessons. I usually only have to sit through 1-4 lessons a day. Sometimes other moms hold me; I like it because they always smile at me and tell me I'm cute.

Early Saturday morning Mama read me a book. The title was this: "Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You?" by Dr. Seuss. I forget to look at the pictures. I'd rather look at Mama.

One of the best 5 year old students I have ever had (he started lessons at 4) came over with his wonderful mom today to give Robert a cute music dog and say "hi". Robert was hungry (it was time to eat!) so he was crying during the picture!

We've been trying to read books and look at toys lately. It's amazing how Robert seems to understand more every day. He is a joy!

I'm 5 weeks old!

Aunt Rebekah gave me some of Brock's cool clothes that he wore when he was little. Mama couldn't wait to try the Gap sweater and pants even though they are a little big still.

I am 1 month old today! I had my dr. appointment at 9:30AM this morning and I didn't cry at all. Daddy came along, too, so I felt special. I am a big boy now. I weigh 9 lbs and 12 oz and I am 22 and 1/4 in. long.

Daddy babysat me all by himself yesterday while Mama accompanied a trombone player.

I like to have my afternoon nap in my car seat.

Nanny bought me the sports outfit. I like to wear the pants.

All my blankets were in the dirty laundry so Mama put me in this very over sized hand-me-down winter thing. She laughed so hard and made me get my picture taken in it although I looked ridiculous.

I am 4 weeks old tomorrow!!!!

I'm starting to enjoy being awake! The last two days I have been smiling and grinning! I love me new music hat, Aunt Rebekah! I have a big head, so I'm so glad it fits!!

I saw my cousins today! We went to the Picture People, but I wasn't very happy because I was hungry.

Sunday

I am now three weeks old and I weigh 8 pounds and 11.9 ounces! I like to nap with daddy because he is very quiet and still. I went to Calvary Church again today and slept through the whole service. I only made it through half of Sunday School, though. This morning I awoke really early (3:50AM) and didn't want to sleep any more, so mama washed my hair and I wore my Pooh towel from Nanny for the first time. Mama keeps looking at my fingers to see how long they are. She wants me to play the piano someday. I don't know what I think about that yet, although every time she plays the piano, I fall asleep.

I was listening to Pastor Munro on-line and Robert was taking a nap in my arms. His expressions were so funny!

For nap time Mama put me in my bed for the first time today with all my friends! (I've been sleeping in my pack and play so far.)

I've never slept so good! Uncle Dan and Aunt Corrie have the touch!
